In April 2001, a birthday bash for original
guitarist
Ace "Space Ace" Frehley was held in Hackensack, NJ.
What a wild day!
First, during a grueling wait
outside, we met our eventual "soul mate" friends, John & Kim.
Then we enjoyed food, drinks, music
and an opportunity of a lifetime to meet Ace.
Gene Simmons stopped by to deliver a
cake and wish Ace a happy one. Ace then used the chance to take to the stage and make his not-so-warm-and-fuzzy feelings
on Gene known to all in attendance.
Past (and now present) KISS drummer
Eric Singer took the stage to play with tribute band "SSG".
All that and a building evacuation due
to a bomb threat!
Told you it was a wild day!
